Cindy’s professional expertise has evolved over three decades to include the design of Corporate Environments, Institutional Centres and Healthcare Facilities. Her commitment to the profession of Interior Design is reflected in her NCIDQ Certification and her current position as Vice President of the Professional Interior Designers Institute of Manitoba (PIDIM). Capitalizing on her strengths in the areas of functional programming, LEAN planning, workplace strategy, and business/practice innovation, Cindy’s is focused on aligning her clients’ strategic objectives with a forward thinking and innovative facility solution.
As an NCIDQ Certified Professional, Jean-Pierre is a practitioner with an excellent design ability, strong comprehension and a true willingness to be part of a larger team. He continues to develop his portfolio of work and specializes in high end corporate interiors, hospitality, and retail design. His personable nature and strong desire to raise the quality of design allows him to form excellent relationships with clients and peers, alike while his work ethic and commitment to projects drive well-designed and thoughtful projects to successful completion.
Sharp decision-making skills, savvy business sense, and a passion for design are at the core of Lindsay’s ability to produce top-quality final products. As an NCIDQ Certified and LEED® Accredited Professional, she is continually striving to stay informed on the latest advancements in her field which pays dividends for her clients. She has experience in all stages of project delivery, from project programming through to construction administration and has been a Project Manager on several large scale Tenant Improvement Projects. She is a skilled communicator with a keen focus on the needs of her clients allowing her client relationships and projects to thrive.
Meet Sam – one of RIDI’s first hires, resilient and steadfast, making her a great asset to the team. She believes the most rewarding part of the Interior Design profession is seeing the concept transformed into the built form. Sam is a boss at concept development, design development and coordinating construction documents while also accepting her self-titled role as the office nerd and the go-to BIM guru.
In a sea of black clothing, Cynthia does not shy away from wearing colour in the office. A strong addition to any project team, Cynthia blends her enthusiasm for functional and thoughtful design with technical expertise in construction details, documentation, and contract administration. Her passion for contemporary art extends beyond design, influencing her love for long walks with her pup, Deethra, and leisurely Sunday brunches – and always saving room for dessert.
Deadline-driven, detail-orientated, and passionate about transforming information into visually appealing graphic solutions, Michelle has a proven ability to create and manage projects in fast-paced, and dynamic creative environments. Continuously learning more efficient ways to deliver, Michelle’s A-type personality pays dividend to her role. After work, she is creating dishes for her husband and family, and when not in Winnipeg, you will find her sipping wine in the Okanogan or enjoying the outdoors with her husband in Fernie.
Clarissa is a naturally bubbly and enthusiastic designer who brings energy to every aspect of her work. Her attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and passion for human-centred and community-driven design have established her as a lead in Functional Programming at the studio. Always eager to grow and collaborate, she loves being involved in every stage of the design process and is driven by a commitment to creating meaningful, people-focused spaces. Outside the studio, Clarissa channels her focus and determination into competitive boxing, approaching the sport with the same drive and dedication that she brings to her design work.
Equipped with a great skill of visualization, JK is an award-winning designer who values achieving perfection in interior design projects. Often you will see him talking silently to himself because he is going through the project checklist making sure everything is in place. Chelsea is his favourite soccer team, that is why blue is his favourite colour. He often plays FIFA to keep his mind sharp and attentive.
Priscilla is a passionate and detail-oriented designer who brings seven years of experience and an innate curiosity to the RIDI team. Originally from Goiânia, Brazil, she draws on a rich tapestry of life experiences to inform her work – blending creativity, cultural insight, and a strong sense of initiative to craft thoughtful, engaging design solutions. Outside of the studio, she enjoys exploring the outdoors, experimenting in the kitchen, and relaxing with a good musical or game of chess.
Having a hard time reaching something on the top shelf? Call Vlad! Door jammed? Lightbulb out? Call Vlad! Always happy to assist with any task, Vlad is RIDI’a tallest and handiest designer. Throughout Vlad’s creative career, he has been developing various projects in design and architecture, which were successfully completed and implemented. Always ready to learn something new, gain experience and become better than he was a minute ago. After work, he never misses an opportunity to play with his children or watch his favourite movie with his wife, Oleks, for the thousandth time.
Dario is a seasoned architectural designer whose extensive experience shines through in every project he takes on. Drawing inspiration from his roots in Bogota, Colombia, Dario brings a unique perspective and a keen eye for detail, creating designs that seamlessly blend creativity and functionality. Outside the studio, Dario’s life is just as vibrant. Whether he’s learning the ropes of chess, exploring the great outdoors, or dancing his way through a cooking session, his passion for life fuels his creativity.
Folarin is a skilled problem-solver whose creative mindset and adaptable approach elevate every project he works on. Educated in Lagos and inspired by his roots in Ekiti, Nigeria, he combines innovation and practicality, finding solutions that others might overlook. Outside the office, Folarin’s rhythm and precision as an intermediate-level salsa and bachata dancer reflect his dynamic energy and focus. Whether he’s gliding across the dance floor or recharging with a well-earned lazy day, Folarin’s calm yet inventive spirit adds depth and balance to the team.
Fueled by plenty of coffee, Valentina is a product design engineer with more than nine years of industry experience. Recently, her interests shifted from products to the environments we inhabit, prompting her move to Canada in 2021 to pursue a Master of Interior Design. Her previous knowledge helps her get all the details in order, while her new complementary skills allow her to keep the bigger picture in mind – like a symphony, where the whole is more than the sum of its parts.
Karen, an architect from Puebla, Mexico, blends creativity with functionality in commercial, workplace, hospitality, and residential projects. Passionate about design that captures a place’s essence, she thrives on thoughtful, forward-thinking solutions. Outside work, she embraces her heritage through Día de los Muertos and legendary guacamole, while travel, Coldplay concerts, and French films keep her inspired. Whether exploring new cities, enjoying beach getaways, or winning at LUDO, she brings the same enthusiasm to life as she does to design.
Annie brings a global perspective to the RIDI team. With a focus on hospitality and commercial design across North America, she began her career in New York before relocating to Canada. Annie is a firm believer that thoughtful design can enrich everyday life, and she strives to create spaces that balance aesthetic beauty, functional clarity, and emotional comfort. To her, design is an ongoing journey of self-expression and discovery, shaping environments that feel as good as they look. A puzzle-loving, late-night-working, tzatziki-snacking designer, she finds inspiration in family traditions, classic films, and long hikes with her husband.
April is a thoughtful designer with a quiet demeanour, but a BOLD approach. She focuses on creating spaces that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality, ensuring each project meets the unique needs of its users. Passionate about continuous learning, she actively refines her skills, exploring new ideas and techniques to enhance her designs. Whether working on a sleek commercial space or a personalized residential project, April’s attention to detail and fresh perspective leave a lasting impression. Outside of work, she finds inspiration in travel and music, and enjoys spending time with her Shih Tzu, Reo.
Bryce is a thoughtful and driven designer who brings fresh perspective and a hands-on approach to the RIDI team. Originally from Winnipeg, he recently completed his Master’s coursework in Adelaide, Australia, and is guided by a growing interest in people-centered design. With a strong work ethic and a detail-oriented mindset, Bryce contributes curiosity, focus, and care to every project. Outside of work, Bryce enjoys golf, playing goalie in the winter, spending time with his Labradoodle Jackson, and restoring classic imported cars.
Whitney is a dedicated and results-driven Project Manager with a strong background in commercial construction across Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Known for her work ethic, attention to detail, and clear communication, she ensures projects are delivered efficiently while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and client satisfaction. Her approach balances operational precision with relationship-focused coordination, making her a trusted and reliable presence on any project team. Outside of work, Whitney finds balance in the Canadian outdoors, often spending her days off at the lake or exploring national parks with her daughter… snacking on pretzels and artichoke dip along the way.
Alyssa is an accomplished finance professional with a wealth of experience across diverse industries. She has a passion for problem-solving and turning numbers into meaningful insights. Known for her determination and compassion, Alyssa is constantly seeking opportunities to learn and grow both personally and professionally. When she’s not crunching numbers, Alyssa is a busy mom of two who enjoys channeling her creativity through ballet and jazz dancing, indulging in reality TV marathons, and exploring new destinations and cultures around the globe.
